PETG-ESD (Static-Dissipative PETG) 3D Printing

Carbon-loaded PETG that bleeds off static charge instead of holding it, for fixtures, trays and enclosures around static-sensitive electronics. The dissipative range is the filament manufacturer's rating on its own test specimens; a printed part is not ESD-certified, and qualifying one for an ESD-controlled area means testing that part.

PETG-ESD: common questions

What is PETG-ESD good for?
PETG-ESD is a common choice for pcb assembly fixtures, component trays, electronics enclosures, cleanroom tooling.
How strong and heat-resistant is PETG-ESD?
Printed PETG-ESD parts have a typical tensile strength of 40–50 MPa and heat resistance of ~75 °C. These are typical values for printed parts in the XY direction; strength between layers is lower, so orientation matters for loaded parts.
How big a part can you print in PETG-ESD, and how fast?
Up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm in one piece; larger parts are printed in sections and joined, after a review. Production takes 2-5 business days, and rush service is available.
