PA6/66 Copolymer (CoPA) 3D Printing

A copolymer of PA6 and PA66 that keeps most of nylon's toughness and heat resistance while printing with far less warp and shrinkage. The most forgiving nylon for large or flat parts where pure PA6 or PA66 would curl.

PA6/66 (CoPA): common questions

What is PA6/66 (CoPA) good for?
PA6/66 (CoPA) is a common choice for large functional parts, flat covers & plates, tooling, general-purpose nylon parts. A copolymer of PA6 and PA66 that keeps most of nylon's toughness and heat resistance while printing with far less warp and shrinkage. The most forgiving nylon for large or flat parts where pure PA6 or PA66 would curl.
How strong and heat-resistant is PA6/66 (CoPA)?
Printed PA6/66 (CoPA) parts have a typical tensile strength of 55–70 MPa and heat resistance of ~105 °C. These are typical values for printed parts in the XY direction; strength between layers is lower, so orientation matters for loaded parts.
How big a part can you print in PA6/66 (CoPA), and how fast?
Up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm in one piece; larger parts are printed in sections and joined, after a review. Production takes 2-5 business days, and rush service is available.
