PPA-CF (Carbon Fiber Polyphthalamide) 3D Printing
Carbon-fiber reinforced polyphthalamide, the high-temperature end of the polyamide family. The strongest and most heat-resistant nylon-type composite we print, with very low moisture sensitivity. For parts near engines, motors, or hot fluids.

PPA-CF: common questions
What is PPA-CF good for?
PPA-CF is a common choice for under-hood automotive, motor mounts & housings, hot-fluid handling, metal-replacement parts. Carbon-fiber reinforced polyphthalamide, the high-temperature end of the polyamide family. The strongest and most heat-resistant nylon-type composite we print, with very low moisture sensitivity. For parts near engines, motors, or hot fluids.
How strong and heat-resistant is PPA-CF?
Printed PPA-CF parts have a typical tensile strength of 110–130 MPa and heat resistance of ~200 °C. These are typical values for printed parts in the XY direction; strength between layers is lower, so orientation matters for loaded parts.
How big a part can you print in PPA-CF, and how fast?
Up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm in one piece; larger parts are printed in sections and joined, after a review. Production takes 2-5 business days, and rush service is available.
