PA12-CF (Carbon Fiber Nylon 12) 3D Printing
Carbon-fiber PA12: stiff, light, and the most dimensionally stable nylon composite we print because the PA12 base barely absorbs moisture. Slightly less strong than PA6-CF, but holds tolerances in humid environments where PA6-CF would drift.

PA12-CF: common questions
What is PA12-CF good for?
PA12-CF is a common choice for precision fixtures & gauges, outdoor structural parts, automotive under-hood brackets, fuel & oil contact parts. Carbon-fiber PA12: stiff, light, and the most dimensionally stable nylon composite we print because the PA12 base barely absorbs moisture. Slightly less strong than PA6-CF, but holds tolerances in humid environments where PA6-CF would drift.
How strong and heat-resistant is PA12-CF?
Printed PA12-CF parts have a typical tensile strength of 70–90 MPa and heat resistance of ~140 °C. These are typical values for printed parts in the XY direction; strength between layers is lower, so orientation matters for loaded parts.
How big a part can you print in PA12-CF, and how fast?
Up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm in one piece; larger parts are printed in sections and joined, after a review. Production takes 2-5 business days, and rush service is available.
