FDM material
PA6-GF (Glass Fiber Nylon 6) 3D Printing
PA6 reinforced with chopped glass fiber: much stiffer and more heat-resistant than plain PA6 and more impact-tolerant than carbon-fiber nylon. Glass fiber is electrically insulating and RF-transparent, so it suits enclosures around antennas and electronics where CF would interfere.

PA6-GF: common questions
What is PA6-GF good for?
PA6-GF is a common choice for electronics & antenna housings, structural brackets, jigs & fixtures, pump & fan parts.
How strong and heat-resistant is PA6-GF?
Printed PA6-GF parts have a typical tensile strength of 80–100 MPa and heat resistance of ~150 °C. These are typical values for printed parts in the XY direction; strength between layers is lower, so orientation matters for loaded parts.
How big a part can you print in PA6-GF, and how fast?
Up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm in one piece; larger parts are printed in sections and joined, after a review. Production takes 2-5 business days, and rush service is available.
