Biotech and Lab 3D Printing for San Diego

Torrey Pines Mesa and Sorrento Valley run on lab automation, and automation runs on small custom parts: adapters between a robot and a plate, holders for an odd tube, covers for an instrument. Printing them lets a lab adapt its equipment to the assay rather than the other way around.

What we print for biotech & lab teams

Lab automation adapters

Grippers, nests and adapters that seat plates and tubes on a liquid handler or robot arm.

Tube racks and plate holders

Racks for nonstandard tubes in polypropylene, which resists common lab chemicals.

Instrument covers and enclosures

Covers and light shields fitted to an existing instrument.

Device and consumable prototypes

Smooth, detailed SLA prototypes of cartridges and housings for design reviews.

Materials for the job

What we do not do

We do not certify sterility or biocompatibility for a printed part, and these are not finished medical devices. Check each material's chemical and temperature limits against your protocol; we can print test coupons first.

Tolerances: FDM ±0.2 mm typical; SLA ±0.1 mm, or ±0.2% above 100 mm. Production takes 2-5 business days.
